Joe has been at the Bobby Benson Center for 18 years, initially started at frontline working a few months on the 700 shift/cook then moved to full time on the 1500 where shortly after was made a Shift leader, graduated from BYUH with his BSW in 2009.  After approximately 6 years as frontline moved to work as the intake coordinator and completed CSAC. Just over two years later moved to work as the Chemical Dependency Program Coordinator in which time completed MSW at UH Manoa in 2016 at which time began taking on clients, then transitioned to Therapist later that year.  Since 2021 he has worked as the Continuum Of Care Clinical Program Manager.  He became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in February 2023 and is now the Clinical Director at the Bobby Benson Center!  Fun Facts: married and has 5 keiki ages 11 to 3 years old, older 3 were born while working frontline and full time student at BYUH, then the last two were born while on the clinical team. Enjoys sports, diving, eating and sleeping.
