Registered Nurse (On-Call)
Jessica Palomino studied at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa and the University of Utah, and graduated with her Bachelor's in Nursing. She started working at Kapi'olani in the pediatric intensive care unit in 2015 and has worked there for the past five years. Jessica is passionate about healthcare for all at-risk populations in her community, but has always had a love for working with children.
She has been involved in non-profit work her entire life, including volunteering with the Institute for Human Services, working internationally as a PACU nurse with Operation Smile, and also as one of the directors at the local animal rescue Aloha Animal Sanctuary. She has been covering for the Bobby Benson Center nurse intermittently over the last year, and is very excited to transition to working with the youth at BBC full-time.
On her days off, Jessica loves to surf, nap, eat delicious plant-based food, and travel!
